Two Intros Classification Essay

Intro 1
I have to start planing two birthdays parties. Where do I start? Addie's 1st birthday is March 30th. Cassidee's 4th birthday is April 30th. I have to find a place to have them. Than what colors and theme they each want. Addie's will be easy because she does not really care yet, but Cassidee's wants a different theme every day.  Than I have to find the theme they want, if I can't find it at a store i will have to order it online. I like to make the birthday cakes with them. I'm thinking of buying the cakes this year I just don't have the time to make the cakes, but I'm still thinking about what I'm going to do with that part. Who to invite we have a big family and lots of friends.

Intro 2
I have been thinking about how to do birthday parties. I wanted to have my two girls Addie's and Cassidee's birthday parties together, because they are only a month apart. When I was a kid I shared my birthday with me sister, we enjoyed it. Than the more I thought about the birthday parties I thought Addie should have her 1st birthday by herself. After her 1st birthday they can share birthday parties. Now the hard part starts where to have it I thought about doing it at Pat's Pizza. Addie's birthday is on a Friday and Pat's don't save the room for big parties. I'm not sure where to go now. Cassidee wants to have hers at the tennis courts. The tennis courts have a big climber thing and ball pit lots of fun for that age.

  1. Holli--in a classification essay, you take a lot of things and sort them out into three groups. You could, for example, categorize different types of parties or different types of kids' parties or different types of partygoers.

But it looks to me in these that you are almost setting up a contrast between two parties. Contrast is not the same as classification.
