I really care about kids and there health. I want every child to have the best start they can have with there health and learning. I also like to help parents out with what ever they need to learn about this topic. Some parents don't know a lot about healthy choices, but they want to learn. Than they can teach it to there kids and help them be able to pick healthy over unhealthy. I really like to read articles about over weight children and be able to learn from them. Where I work at a Head Start we also have a lot of trainings on how to make healthy choices. We learn different fun ways to keep kids healthy and moving. If the kids really enjoy it we tell the parent what we have been doing so they can do it at home to. I would like to think the work we are doing with our kids and parents really helps them to be healthier. I know with my child who was in Head Start it has made a difference with how she picks foods.
